Dieting for the Right Reasons

Dieting has become a trend, if not a fad today. You see the diet and weight loss tips each month in each issue-oriented women's magazines. Diet "phenomena" has also invaded the ads, billboards and talk shows. Books about them (either medically or self-help) sprout everywhere, seems to hypnotize almost the entire population to jump to the weight loss. But what é is what it really means to you in the first place?

Our society is driven by the image. You see, both the face and body, are everything. We watch movies in which the heroes are as fit and attractive, while chubby people are being bullied or ridiculed, if not trace time in history to be slim. This attracts think you have to be thin to be in. You give it. Looking for the diet that will really help you achieve your goal. But if not, have a relapse, can end his original weight, or worse, heavier. Then you realize he did it for the wrong reasons. Being motivated by an external force, such as peer pressure, the impression of how the media represents the ideal image of a person and his family persuasion or disgust, it gives a reason unrealistic weight loss. Staying in this trap will only lead to failure and waste of resources. Motivation must come from within you. Do you want to diet because you want to lose weight and you want to feel good.

Success in the diet does not happen overnight, and liking what you are doing is the key to help you lose weight. Remember, when you want to have something, to find ways. If you want something, you find reasons why.
